DCR Radio is more than an upload page. The Artist Program is designed as an artist-discovery experience that gives independent music a platform, a story, and a chance to build real listeners.

DCR Radio is focused on emerging independent talent. Accepted tracks can be featured through station programming, discovery features, and artist-focused promotion.
Selected, rights-cleared submissions may also be considered for DCR social content, artist features, interviews, short-form video, station promotion, and other discovery opportunities. Social/video use remains subject to the separate DCR rights-clearance process.
Selected artists may be invited for live or recorded interviews that introduce the artist, the release, and the story behind the music.
DCR Radio plans to build listener-driven charts and voting so fans can support the songs and artists they want to hear more from.
Human-created, AI-assisted, hybrid, and properly licensed AI-generated music are welcome. Programming decisions consider originality, rights clearance, production quality, station fit, and listener experience.
Independent artists benefit from platforms designed around discovery. DCR Radio is being built for the independent artist still working for that first real audience, that first interview, that first chart moment, and that first group of listeners who say, “I heard them before everybody else did.”
The vision is to turn listening into participation—giving audiences reasons to remember the artist, vote, follow the story, and come back to see who is rising.
Listener voting and charting can help surface the songs gaining real audience support. Artists get another reason to send their fans to DCR Radio, and listeners get a voice in discovery.
Interviews, artist stories, releases, and future spotlight content can turn one song into a deeper connection between the artist and the people listening.

First-time artists begin with the DCR-Direct-License-Agreement. Returning DCR artists can use an existing agreement number to submit additional songs.
Complete the DCR-Direct-License-Agreement and submit the first track for review. There is no cost to apply or join.
Artists with an existing DCR-Direct-License-Agreement Number can submit additional releases through the New Song Submission form.
Submission does not guarantee airplay, promotion, interviews, chart placement, or selection. DCR Radio reviews music for programming, rights, quality, and platform fit.
